fine fine fine... ill start writing in my blog. i've had this for a while but have never really done anything with it.
so far this summer has been pretty pissing awesome. it's so weird that june is almost over and we've been out of school for over a month. im not even close to being ready to go back to school so the rest of this summer better not go by too fast. although I am kind of getting tired of this triple digit heat. yesterday I got in my truck and it said 115. blehh.
some things that have made this summer amazing... so far:
1. taylor swift concert- holy heck this is by far the best concert i've ever been to. thanks mom and dad for getting me tickets for my birthday.
2. going to california threee weekends in a row. someday im going to live there... seriously it's perfect.
the first time was with emily, cody, beth & bobby. we all crammed into a small car and drove to LA at 3 in the morning. the first day we went to knotts berry farm and we got there before it even opened. after knotts we checked into our hotel and went to seal beach that night. the next day we went to balboa beach then newport beach and met up with rachel and some of her byu friends. that night we went back to the beach and went to ruby's diner on the pier for dinner. soooo good! then the last day we were there we ate at A's burger and then went to capistrano beach and then back home to az.
the next week we got news that one of my mom's cousins passed away so the family and I went to san diego for the funeral. we got there on friday and checked into our hotel then that night we went to old town to eat dinner and walk around and on our way back we went to mission beach. saturday morning was the funeral and afterwards we went to la jolla shores and cove (amazzzing) and then went to anthony's for dinner. on sunday we went to the san diego temple and seaport village and then sadly drove home that night.
then just a few days later I went with 4 amazing girls to california. this trip was so fun. we got there friday first went to newport beach for a few hours then went to huntington to check into our hotel. then we went to down to huntington beach to go shopping and ate at BJ's. the next day we went to huntington beach, came back to the hotel to take showers, went back to the beach that night, ate at ruby's on the pier and then had a dance party on the side of the road. the last day we ate at tommy's and left for az. about an hour away from home the suburban overheated and was making a loud noise. we pulled over a few times and tried to figure out what was wrong but was told it would be find to drive it home. luckily we got back ok.
now in one week we're going back to california for the 4th of july at huntington beach. if everyone comes that is planning to there should be 11 of us. im soo excited.
3. 3rd reason I love this summer so far is that I get to hang out with amazing people. girls nights, slacklining mondays, rock climbing thursdays, buffalo wild wings, swimming pools, babysitting cute kids, ihop and costa vida, big trucks, cowboy boots, shopping. more to come.
